A Construction Company, based in Centurion Gauteng, is currently looking for a Financial Manager to join their financial team. In this role, you will oversee all ordinary financial management tasks at the organizational level, while also leading a small yet highly skilled and established finance team. Financial Reporting: Maintain internal financial and accounting policies and procedures to establish adequate controls and ensure proper documentation. Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies. Document and manage complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions. Prepare monthly management accounts. Attend management meetings. Report any irregularities or perceived irregularities to the Board for consideration and guidance. Maintain and reconcile intergroup loan, debtors, and creditors accounts. Budget Preparation and Management: Assist the MD and play a key role on the senior management team in strategic matters related to budget management. Provide the MD and senior management with an operating budget and work together to ensure success through cost analyses. Revenue: Assist in setting annual revenue budgets. Assist in preparing monthly revenue reports to report any overs/under on revenue targets. Oversee the monthly increase process according to raw material movements. Stock and Warehouse: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures around stock and warehouse functions to ensure accurate accounting for stock. Accurately value stock (Raw material, WIP, FG) monthly and calculate overhead recovery. Compliance: Ensure timely submission of WCA annually. Ensure statutory compliance by correctly and timely submitting and paying VAT (monthly), Bag levy (quarterly), PAYE (Monthly & Biannually), and provisional tax (Biannually). Manage, collect, and submit supporting documents to SARS for tax verification and disputes (VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF, Bag levy). Liaise with internal and external auditors. Remuneration and Payroll Preparation and Administration: Assist in timely calculations of commission, increases, salaries, and wages for staff, as well as management bonuses, along with Board approval when necessary. Oversee the payroll function to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees, including annual increases, overtime, commission, and bonuses. Assist in approving new employee remuneration packages. Oversee the leave administration function and ensure leave is taken in accordance with the leave policy and guidelines. Degree (in Finance/Accounting/Economics) Completed SAIPA Articles or CIMA Qualification or CIBA Registration Essential 2 Years Experience Market-Related
