We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join our client's finance team. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial records, providing valuable insights to support decision-making, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget variances. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support for decision-making. Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as required. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline accounting processes. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. R400 000 CTC to R480 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
