We are currently in search of a talented Financial Accountant to play an integral part in our finance team and play its part in driving the ongoing success of our companies Property Portfolios Salary offered is from R60 000 to R70 000 3 days from office and 2 days home based https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17216398513860044510bUx Duties & Responsibilities As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing various financial aspects of our business.You will be responsible for the full accounting function and reporting there-of for various businesses. Key Responsibilities: Support the Financial Manager with all aspects of finance, accounting and admin functions of various operating companies. Managing accounting/bookkeeping for all operating businesses - General Ledger to accounts to Trail Balance. Lead financial control and reporting functions. Statutory - VAT201, EMP201, Provisional Tax (Calculations & Submissions) Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations Preperation of working papers for external auditors Assist with any ad-hoc duties required by CFO and Financial Managers. Prepare financial reports and statements by analyzing and interpreting financial data Ensure compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis Conduct internal audits and ensure financial processes are in line with regulations Provide recommendations for improvements in financial systems and processes Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals of the organization Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles required Years of relevant experience in financial accounting Procifient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Skills and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven knowledge of IFRS Property experience will beneficial. Salary offered is from R60 000 to R70 000
