Accountant needed in an Accounting Firm based in PTA East. 1. Must be able to work on Efiling: a. Submit ITR12 returns b. The ITA34 (assessment) can understand when SARS issues an additional assessment c. Must be able to handle objections and appeals from SARS d. Must be able to do tax clearance certificates & Foreign investment tax clearances e. Should the new process know how to transfer a SARS Efiling profile and what to do when the contact details are not updated on SARS' system f. Must be able to track the turnaround times and take the necessary esculation, complaints & tax ombud steps as needed g. Must know what to do when there is a problem in the return and if there is a SARS assessment h. A plus would be if she has knowledge of CC and or PTY to submit returns when help is needed such as i. VAT returns ii. PAYE return iii. ITR14 (Applicable for the Smaller and simple companies) 2. Must be able to do calculations with the Wintax program and understand the calculations 3. Must be able to explain to a client why a SARS refund may be less 4. Must be able to calculate Provisional tax and request the necessary documents 5. Must be able to know why SARS does not pay a client's refund and solve the problem 6. Must keep up to date as SARS Efiling changes 7. Must be able to handle all SARS inquiries and appointments 8. Must be able to work on pastel: a. Until trail balance can work b. Being able to draw and understand VAT reports will be a plus - Financial Accounting Degree / or relevant experience - Languages: Afrikaans and English - Female - Age group: 24 - 40 Salary: - R29 000.00 - R33 000.00
