Accountant (JBJB4279) Randburg, Gauteng R25 000 - R30 000 per month Duration: Permanent Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing their financial records, analyzing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts. Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, you will also handle various administrative tasks related to financial operations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, preferably in a Motor Dealership environment (but not required) Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Experience in financial analysis and reporting Proficiency in using accounting software Xero Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accurate financial records Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes Perform financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and ensure compliance Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Handle administrative tasks as required to support financial operations Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
