We're hiring Safran Electronics and Defense are on the search for an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team based in Canelands,Verulam. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, managing VAT submissions and managing cashbook and credit card transactions. The candidate should also be responsible for processing EFT payments and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate should have a meticulous eye for detail and strong analytical skills. -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. -Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. -Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. -Proficiency in accounting software. -Highly proficient in Excel is key (Intermediate / advanced) -Experience with FNB Business Online platform is preferred. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
