Key responsibilities of the position Preparing and maintaining financial records and documents accurately and timeously; Responsibility for accounting processes and tasks Co-ordinating and liaising with internal stakeholders Monitoring and analysing financial data; Preparing/assisting with the preparation of financial and departmental reports/budgets/annual financial statements; Assisting with the preparation of company taxes; and Ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines affecting the finances of the company. Experience & Qualifications: Post Graduate Diploma or Honours in Accounting At least 3-5 years' work experience in a similar role in the financial sector. Solid knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles and practices Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, and an advantage if able to work with Hyperion, Financial Management (HFM), and Great Plains.
