Accounting Manager - Pretoria
Job & Company Description:
A multinational corporation specializing in optical, imaging, and industrial is urgently looking for a
Accounting Manager to join their tech savvy and diverse finance team on a 12 months contract basis.
This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations and auditing practices.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Manage the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing and other accounting functions for the organization
- Ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organisation
- Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff
- Prepare or lead preparation of reports which summarise and forecast business activity and financial position
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports, for internal and external use in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act
As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
The requirements:
Qualification:
- CA(SA) with completed board exams
Experience:
- 8 years accounting experience
- Knowledge GAAP and Sox
- Good knowledge of budget management and financial risk management
Skills Required:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Ownership and accountability
