The primary responsibility of the role is processing, reconciling, and maintenance of the accounts payable as well as payment of supplier invoices. The position reports to the Financial Manager. Accounts Payable Processing-Ensure Supplier invoices are processed in SAGE X3 Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts Provide monthly creditors age analysis for review and resolve related queries Processing of all monthly rental invoices and recon thereof Creating bank templates for payments and loading all payments onto the bank Importing and uploading of cashbooks and completing cash book allocations Bank reconciliations Month-end processing of Sales, Cost of sales, and Petty cash journals for all corporate stores on Sage X3 Processing of petty cash for all regions on Sage X3 Credit card processing and reconciliation on Sage X3 Assist in audits Maintain an auditable filing system Other ad hoc duties as assigned Behavioural Responsibilities: Passionate Service – First and foremost focuses on serving the needs of our guests Selfless Community - Actively works to better the environment for her/his team, rather than focusing only on individual needs Servant Leadership – Actively focuses on “serving” her/his guests and fellow citizens Unwavering Integrity – Is honest in all her/his dealings in the community Accounting and Financial processing Creditors Administration Application of Financial controls Basic Procurement Process SAGE X3 Key Competencies Apply and interpret accounting principles Work under pressure with minimum supervision Attention to detail Demonstrate high level of imitativeness Demonstrate good planning and organizing skills Strong reconciliation skills Microsoft/ computer applications Accounting systems and packages Good verbal and written communication skills Market-related
