Actuarial Executive - Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead and manage actuarial consulting and statutory projects.
- Conduct reserving, statutory valuations, and SAM Pillar I.
- Perform product pricing, design, and capital modeling.
- Support the Head of Actuarial Function/Appointed Actuary.
- Prepare ORSAs, FCRs, and IFRS 17 reviews.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Actuarial Science.
- Over 5 years of experience in life actuarial work or a similar environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of actuarial software.
- Ability to manage changing projects and priorities efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new methods and processes.
- Commitment to delivering work within agreed deadlines and scope.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent report writing skills.
