Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth analysis of data to support pricing decisions and financial valuations
- Developing and enhancing actuarial models to assess risk and profitability
- Collaborating with product managers and underwriters to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives
- Providing actuarial support for product development initiatives, including new product launches and enhancements
- Monitoring and analyzing industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Fellowship or progress towards Fellowship in a recognized actuarial organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical modelling and data analysis tools
- Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry preferred
- Knowledge of actuarial software (e.g., Prophet) is a plus
