Step into a pivotal role where your expertise in financial reporting and valuation will shine Brief Summary: Become a key player in a vibrant team, where your leadership skills will make a difference. Utilize your management experience to generate essential IFRS17, MCEV, and SAM results, and demonstrate your ability by clearly and confidently presenting these findings to senior management. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Generate IFRS17, MCEV, and SAM results, presenting and explaining key drivers to senior management effectively. Capital Oversight: Oversee the production and analysis of capital calculations for relevant products. Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze the financial impacts of responsible products outside of valuation periods. Team Leadership: Manage a small team of professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure their growth and development. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) or 2 exams away from qualifying Managerial experience is advantageous Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and valuation Skills desired: Prophet, Python and SQL If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
