Hire Resolve on behalf of their client is currently seeking an experienced Actuarial Expert specialised in General Insurance to join our client's team. As an Actuarial Expert, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and assessing risks, developing pricing models, and providing expert advice to support decision-making related to general insurance products. We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in actuarial science and a deep understanding of the general insurance industry. Responsibilities Analyse data and conduct actuarial calculations to assess risk and pricing for general insurance products. Develop and maintain pricing models and methodologies to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Provide actuarial insights and advice to support business decisions and strategy. Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to develop product offerings and enhance profitability. Monitor and analyze industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and adapt pricing strategies accordingly. Participate in the development and implementation of actuarial systems and processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science Degree in Mathematics as well as Actuarial Degree Preferred Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary designation (Fellow or Associate level) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an actuarial role within the general insurance industry. Strong knwledge of actuarial principles, practices, and methodologies. Proficiency in actuarial software and statistical modeling tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
