Administration Assistant - Grahamstown
Responsibilities:
Assist with loading invoices and maintaining accurate records.
Manage stock levels and assist store men with receiving, checking, and packing deliveries.
Coordinate and prepare deliveries to lodges, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor and manage expiry dates of all stock items.
Conduct weekly visits to lodges and villas to inspect housekeeping, food, bar, and equipment stock.
Perform stock takes and ensure accurate loading of figures into the system.
Compare prices from suppliers and maintain supplier relationships.
Maintain equipment lists from villas and lodges and update shortage lists for managers.
Utilize Sage stock system effectively for inventory management.
Assist with administrative tasks related to food and beverage and stock-taking systems.
Requirements:
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email.
Clear and effective communication skills with suppliers, managers, and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience working with Sage stock system is essential.
Physically fit and able to work in cold storage environments (fridges and freezers).
Good knowledge of administration, particularly in food and beverage and stock-taking systems.
Valid driver's license (Code 8/10) is compulsory.
Matric or Grade 12 certificate preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hospitality service experience in reputable establishments.
Valid PDP (Public Driver's Permit) would be advantageous.
