Reference: SW004697-CL-1 Somerset West, Western Cape: An established manufacturer and distributer of products in the South African Agri and Horticultural industries is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join their team. Criteria: Matric Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (read, speak and write) A high level of computer literacy, including Pastel and Microsoft Office Numerical proficiency Have an energetic personality Excellent communication skills Physically capable of lifting and moving stock Mentally resilient and adept at handling stress Adaptable and receptive to learning Key Responsibilities: Telephone and Reception duties: Screening of calls, accurate message-taking skills, handling of general enquiries, assist walk-in customers Conduct stock checks Assist in movement of stock items received and being dispatched Tracking of daily waybills and managing delivery of goods Communicate with customers and couriers to track goods Maintaining an accurate filing system (invoices, checklists, credit notes etc) Supplier management: Generate GRN's as required | process and maintain a meticulous record of supplier tax invoices and statements | reconcile statements with Pastel suppliers' ledger | prepare monthly statements | manage accurate spreadsheets Debtors support: assist in managing invoices and POD functions Apply Now
