Africa IT Operations Lead - Cape Town City Centre
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a similar leadership position within the IT field, preferably in Africa
Strong strategic thinking and execution abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and customer experience improvement
Extensive knowledge of IT operations management, including network infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and technical support
Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget
Excellent vendor management skills, with experience in negotiating contracts and monitoring service levels
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent
In-depth understanding of risk management principles and best practices in maintaining data and asset security
Familiarity with relevant compliance regulations and standards, such as GDPR, POPIA, and industry-specific requirements
Proven budgeting and cost control expertise, with the ability to optimize resource allocation and expenditures
A passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree and upwards
