The Technical Marketing Specialist's main function is to market products by offering technical support to Seed Specialists, Crop Advisors and customers by way of the development, delivery and provision of programmes, manuals, training and other information regarding the Seed and Crop Protection Portfolio as a whole. This position is also responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining long-term relationships with core customers as well as optimizing sales opportunities. This position is based in either Stellenbosch, Wellington or Paarl and will serve the Namibia, Northern, Western and Eastern Cape area. Good relevant seed and crop protection knowledge Strong interpersonal skills The ability to build strong relationships and partnerships Effective planning and organizational skills Strong communication skills including written and verbal skills Good problem and complaint resolution skills Analytical, business and financial expertise The ability to identify and respond to business opportunities Strong negotiation skills Must be result oriented and driven The ability to manage projects from start to finish Careful attention to detail Must be structured and disciplined Must have integrity Must have confidentiality and exceptional discretionary skills B.Sc. Agric degree in either agronomy, hortology or entomology
