The medium sized, well-established and reputable law firm located in Johannesburg, Braamfontein.
Job DescriptionThe applicant for this role is required to be an admitted attorney with litigation experience. Exposure to employment and labour law, and administrative law will be an advantage. The nature of the litigation experience in these practice areas must be indicated in the applicants CV. The candidate will be supervised by a director and must demonstrate the ability to work independently and in teams. Standard Associate duties and responsibilities will apply. Demonstrate proficiency in drafting pleadings, affidavits and heads of argument.
QualificationsBachelors degree in law. Admitted attorney. (Good Academic results are required - please attached academic transcripts with application)
SkillsAt least one year's post-admission experience. Litigation experience with exposure to employment and labour law, and administrative law will be an advantage. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others. Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a busy practice. Demonstrate the ability to effectively engage with clients.
