Orion Real Estate seeks to employ 2 (two) Air Conditioner Technicians. The Air Conditioner Technicians are responsible for conducting maintenance, repairs, and installations on various types of air conditioning systems. These technicians should possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills in order to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Duties and Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems, including cleaning condenser coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts.Conduct inspections to assess the condition and performance of air conditioning units.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems, such as refrigerant leaks, electrical malfunctions, or mechanical failures.Repair or replace faulty components and parts, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and fans.Install, assemble, and test new air conditioning systems according to specifications and guidelines.Conduct performance and efficiency tests on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair options, and suggesting preventative maintenance measures.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inventory, and equipment maintenance logs.Stay updated with industry advancements and product knowledge to effectively carry out repairs and installations.Collaborate with other team members to complete complex projects or handle an increased workload during peak seasons.Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on air conditioning systems to ensure a secure and accident-free environment.Qualifications and Experience required:Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.Relevant certification or diploma in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) or a related field.Experience and qualifications in electrical will be an added advantage.Proven experience working as an Air Conditioner Technician, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.A driver's license and own reliable transport will also be an added advantage.Strong understanding of air conditioning systems and their components, including electrical and mechanical aspects.Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately.Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and familiarity with refrigerants.Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs or installations.Ability to use various tools and equipment required for air conditioning repairs and installations.Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Note: This job specification is a general guideline and may be subject to modification or addition based on specific requirements or company policies.
