ALM System Senior Specialist - Cape Town City Centre
As a Senior System Specialist specializing in actuarial ALM, you'll be instrumental in managing and enhancing our ALM systems to ensure they align with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you'll have the opportunity to shape our financial management processes and drive efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and maintenance of actuarial ALM systems, ensuring they meet business needs and regulatory standards.
Drive system upgrades and enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement data governance frameworks to maintain the integrity and reliability of financial information.
Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders, including training and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in implementing and maintaining actuarial ALM systems, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in SQL, database management, and scripting languages.
A proactive approach to learning and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in actuarial ALM systems.
