The Role: Analyst Automotive Forecasting EMEA The Team: The S&P Global Mobility team leverages crucial insights derived from comprehensive automotive data. This enables us to provide our clients with a clear understanding of the current market, expand their customer reach, and actively contribute to the future evolution of automotive mobility. The Impact: In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on the light vehicle sales markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Your tasks will include preparing vehicle sales forecasts and conveying this extensive knowledge to our clients through forecasts, personalized reports, and intelligence briefings. Responsibilities: - Leverage your specialized knowledge of the EMEA automotive market to enhance the S&P Mobility databases. - Understand and apply S&P Mobility forecast methodologies, effectively use S&P Mobility tools and data sources to draw accurate forecast conclusions. Support forecast assumptions with clients in a constructive manner. - Deliver insightful commentary with analysis and rationale that supports vehicle forecasting. - Network with key contacts in the automotive market to validate data and share intelligence. - Ensure all services under your responsibility are produced and maintained at the highest quality levels, and consistently delivered on time. - Provide analytical support to clients, both in person and online. - Contribute to the organization's sales and marketing efforts. What We're Looking For: - A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, Business, or Marketing. - 1-3 years of experience in automotive research and forecasting, or several years of experience closely related to the automotive industry. - Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Exceptional communication skills, including writing, interpersonal, and listening skills, as well as presentation skills developed with both large and small audiences. - Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in database manipulation.
