We are looking for a passionate Full stack developer to join our Graphite team. Our responsibility is to maintain the Graphite solution designed and hosted for the Azure environment. You will be helping by finding new and creative ways of using technology to help grow our clients' businesses. Along with creating and maintaining the Graphite solution and related integration points, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse team who loves collaborating, knowledge sharing and challenges the status quo. Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree, preferred in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems qualification advantageous. Knowledge of / experience within the financial services industry (preferably investment banking) advantageous 5 years of working as a Full Stack Developer. Microsoft Cloud Development experience (a must). Technical / Special Requirements Front-end: React, HTML, CSS Backend: C#, NodesJS, .NET Core Databases: Microsoft SQL 2016/2019, Azure Data Factory Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ900) Microsoft Azure Wep Apps, Function Apps, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Service Bus experience Dev Tools: Visual Studio 2017, 2019, Azure DevOps 5 years C# experience Other: JSON, JQuery, JavaScript Requirements: Experience of Test-Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development and Agile methodology. • Ambition to work in a small, highly productive team. Drive to keep up to date with new technologies. Code Analysis & Metrics. Working within a team where code quality and team code reviews is paramount. Ability to demonstrate the FNZ values in an on-going and consistent way. Appreciation for software craftsmanship, quality, security, maintainability, and performance Attention to quality, detail, cleanliness of code and personal pride in your work. Develop and maintain RESTful API's in either C#, .NET Core or NodeJS Experience working with Microsoft SQL databases. Excellent technical and communication skills Develop features within our applications, including collaborating on requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, and automated testing. Translate requirements from product owners and analysts into technical deliverables for the development team. Strong technical skills and often develops the architecturally significant components of the software system and/or interfaces. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance. Review code developed by other team members and provided guidance to more junior members of the team. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Drive continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, presenting these for architectural review, and ensuring the team is aligned with the latest technology available. Strong service-orientated design focus on robust, compelling user experience, and client satisfaction Provide firsthand analysis, investigation, and support for production environment concerns. Take ownership of projects assigned and liaise with the development team and respective manager and team leader. Ability to work comfortably from home. Obsessive automation of the build pipeline with Azure DevOps Ability to draw easy to understand architecture diagrams. Exposure working on one or many major public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, Google) Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Proficiency in applying patterns in the design of solutions. Exposure and understanding the concept of containerization and Docker.
