Apparel Sales Manager (CPT) - South Africa
Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to grow sales in the Western Cape region by implementing strategic sales initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and build customer relations. Customer Service Maintain an effective hours call and professional service to all customersKeeping informed of market trends and the changing needs of the customerDevelop a call schedule to adequately cover territory and a weekly report backEnsuring deliveries take place on time to all customersTerritory coverage (Brand Distribution Maps), regular customer visits regardless of locationPrioritize and satisfy customer enquiries and requests in a timely manner Sales Meetings to be set upon a seasonal basis to review new ranges and ensure new ranges are delivered on time.Achieving and exceeding sales and GP % sales targetsCompilation of sales reports as and when required Merchandising / Marketing Work with customer to negotiate best brand exposure and VM at face of retail marketing to create brand awarenessWork with marketing on POS representing our brand in retailEnsuring that the client is aware of new productsIdentify brand opportunities and maximize instore space allocationsEnsure all marketing material is used inside correctly and is current/relevantUpdate and remove old marketing materialsAttend road show and showcase new products to clients / customers Comparisons Keep up to date with competitors’ products and salesUnderstanding of brands and competitors by customers to ensure growth opportunities are maximized Minimum Requirements:• Matric• Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Sales, or relevant qualifications (desirable)• Minimum 3 years Sales and Brand management experience• Strong Footwear / Apparel sales background (desirable)• Advanced analytical skills• Valid driver’s License with own vehicle (compulsory)• Must be able to work independently and strive for excellence• Excellent communication skills• Negotiation skills• Honesty, integrity, and good work ethic• Dependability• Be self-motivated• High energy levels https://protool.gumtree.co.za/external-link-browser.html?urlaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZGl0dG8uam9icy9qb2IvZ3VtdHJlZS8zNDk2MDU1MzI4P3NvdXJjZT1ndW10cmVl&jid1228479&xid3496055328
