Area Sales Manager (JHB) - Johannesburg

Experience and Competencies required
  • Must have Grade 12 with a Sales and Marketing Diploma or Marketing Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Sales experience in selling Forklifts/Material Handling Equipment
  • Valid Drivers Licence and must be available to travel
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills. Computer literacy on Auto Line an advantage

Duties

  • Providing quality leadership for the internal and external customers
  • Constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements and inspiring others
  • Establishing an environment and foundation for future sales growth
  • Selling value and solutions to the customers
  • Lead the top-to-top meeting with key customers to ensure strong relationship and remove business obstacles, aligning with long term company direction
  • Achieving monthly and annual set budgets
  • Show initiative in analysing and improving business processes
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Developing sales strategies and setting targets
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
  • Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
