Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have completed a Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in Wholesale (ideally Red Meat Abattoir) will be an added advantage
Must have strong administrative and organisational skills
Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans (Siswati an added advantage), with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
Must be computer literate (Word/Excel) - SAP will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Health and Safety systems and Food Safety Systems will be highly beneficial
Must be healthy and fully vaccinated due to strict food industry regulations
Must have a valid Code 10 or 14 licenses and PDP with own transport

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Controlling receiving and dispatching functions for wholesale, deboning, offal and cold storage departments.
Coordinating interdepartmental transfers.
Performing daily truck and route planning.
Conducting daily stock planning, stocktakes and balancing of stock.
Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained.
Assisting managers in all different departments.
Performing daily administrative duties.
Liaising between management, drivers, supervisors and staff.
Updating documents and processing daily orders.
Adhering to health and safety, and food safety management practices.
