As an integral part of our team, you'll utilize your expertise to ensure our estate remains a vibrant and picturesque environment for our residents to enjoy. If you're passionate about gardening and possess strong leadership abilities, this is the opportunity for you Offer: R25 000 per month (CTC) – including benefits Closing date: 22 June 2024 Minimum Requirements 3 Year applicable degree/diploma in Horticulture and/or Landscaping Good knowledge and 5 years' experience in landscaping and garden maintenance. 5 years management / supervisory experience Code B drivers' licenses and own vehicle. Excellent communication, customer relations skills and conflict management skills are essential. Time Management, follow through, multi-tasking and effective decision making and planning skills. Ability to take responsibility and accountability. Good understanding of issues affecting residential communities and excellent client services. Computer literacy and basic financial acumen Job specification The successful candidate will be responsible for (not limited to): Parks and gardens Manage complete gardening maintenance service. Maintenance and development planning & cost estimates. Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines for park and garden enhancements and initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, evaluate and refine maintenance strategies. Human Resources To supervise execution of all policy settings according to set standards. Effective management of staff according to policies, procedures, and team schedules. Technical guidance, on site evaluation, staff development and motivation. Quality control inspections according to set standards. Implement safety measures, inspections, and risk assessments (Health & Safety compliance). Communication and reporting Maintain open and clear communication with all relevant parties. Sharing information about park and garden activities / projects.
