Assistant Farm Manager - Standerton
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have completed a National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- A tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience will be required
- A strong understanding of farming processes and industry standards, with proficiency in utilizing technology are important for this role
- Must be proficient in handling numerical data, such as budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management.
- Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
- Must be competent in utilizing various software and technology tools to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and facilitate communication within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating daily farm activities, supervising staff, and addressing challenges to ensure smooth operations.
- Implementing strategies to enhance agricultural processes, improving productivity, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Addressing mechanical and technical issues promptly and coordinating with external resources when necessary.
- Overseeing farm security measures to protect assets and ensuring the safety of personnel.
- Providing administrative and operational support by assisting CEO with other related tasks.
