Assistant General Manager (hotel) - Stellenbosch
A 5star boutique hotel outside Stellenbosch is looking to hire an Assistant GM. Only persons with 4 years or more management experience in the 4-5 star market need apply. The applicant must be self-motivated and be able to manage others. He/she will be responsible for the smooth running of the whole property when the GM is unavailable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are key and a customer orientated individual with a warm, friendly and outgoing personality is a must. Knowledge of foreign languages and wine will be an advantage. The successful applicant needs to be a detail orientated person, extremely reliable, prepared to work shifts and weekends and thrive under stress. Own transport is essential. Hands-on experience in housekeeping, front office and F&B is a must on your CV. Please provide contactable references.
