Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Maintenance Coordinator with excellent administration and customer service skills to join their team. Purpose of the role: Our client is a well-established, yet still dynamic and growing property management and maintenance company. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to undertake an admin role to support the booking team provide timely reports and invoices to customers. Our client is looking for someone who is adaptable wants to help the company grow with a can-do attitude. Duties / Role: Job Description: Report on jobs to clients daily and inform coordinators of any further action (for example, follow up visit or a quotation etc.). Arrange access for Engineers to visit properties. Arrange visits from contractors where in-house Engineers are unable to attend, or where a specialist is needed. Speak to Engineers re overtime every month and send to accounts department. Liaise with relevant department re booking in of vans for services, repairs, etc., and inform coordinators, as schedules would then have to be amended. Respond to insurance queries i.e.: Historical works carried out at certain properties. Reconciliation of outstanding supplier invoices. Any other reasonable duties as required. Skills and experience needed: Excellent organisational skills. Excellent administration skills. Previous related working experience. Professional customer service skills. High standard of communication skills, both written and oral. High attention to detail. Ability to build strong working relationships. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Problem solving. Numerate. Team working. Salary, benefits, and hours of work: Training will be provided. Working hours to as best as possible coincide with UK working hours – 5 days a week 8am-5pm, or 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday mainly but some weekends may be needed. You may be required to undertake overtime on certain occasions. Stellenbosch area. Market related salary. Starting date: As soon as possible.
