The Assistant Maître D’Hotel supervises all dining service team members in order to provide excellent service to guests. Responsibilities: Controls all restaurant service stations, ensures they are clean and that the mise en place is correct before and after every service. Controls the daily work of dining service crew in the assigned restaurant. Handles and resolves guest complaints regarding dining quality and service. Supports the Maître D’Hotel in cost control responsibilities through close monitoring of the inventory. Assists the Maître D’Hotel, ensuring compliance with quality and sanitation standards and procedures in all restaurants, crew mess rooms and room service. Requirements: A diploma or degree from an internationally certified hotel school. Minimum 3 years of experience as a ‘Butler’ in an internationally recognised 5 star hotel is essential. Food Safety/HACCP certificated. Ship experience advantageous. Possess a valid passport. Fluent in English. Proficiency in computers and basic Windows programs is a must. Apply Now
