If so, then we are looking for you The purpose of the role : Maximise HCSA's cash flow by maximal collection and maintaining customer relations. Collaboration with the sales teams to resolve customer issues affecting collections, and maintenance of a strong working relationships. Supervising, training, and motivation of accounts receivable credit controllers and cost clerks in MARC sites and Branch Operations, setting performance targets and conducting regular evaluations on the overdue books. Conducting and participating staff performance reviews. Providing coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement and individual development. Fostering of a positive and collaborative work environment within the department, to promote teamwork and productivity. Ensuring the Kenkijin philosophy, values and principles are established within the team. Continuous review and optimizing of the accounts receivable processes for efficiency, identify and addressing bottlenecks. Leveraging IT and automation to improve departmental operations, and D365. Regular monitoring of changes in regulations, and best practices to adapt and ensure compliance and effectiveness in debt recovery efforts. Overseeing the accounts handed over to legal for collections, ensuring effective recovery while minimizing legal expenses. Ensuring that all credit control activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Preparation and presentation of regular reports on accounts receivable performance to senior management, including actionable insights. Included but not limited to monthly reporting requirements as well as collection fees analysis. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including customers, credit reporting agencies, and auditors. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve the overall customer experience and collections processes. Monthly provisions for bad debts as per the company policy and procedure Streamlining of current processes and institution of new policies and procedures Grade 12 with accounting and business economics. Diploma in Credit Management: 1,2.3 (Recommended). Minimum: 5 years accounts receivable experience in a finance environment. Minimum: 2 years managing an accounts receivable team. Minimum: 3 years debtors reporting. Time management and ability to meet deadlines. Verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Problem-solving and decision making. Proactivity and self-direction. Interpersonal skills. MS Office (Intermediate). MS Excel (intermediate to advanced). Market related. Apply Now
