Situated between a nature reserve and a beach, they offer accommodation facilities, a restaurant, a venue for weddings and events Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role in a similar venue, Restaurant and Accommodation environment Strong customer relations experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail Organised and systematic Patient, motivated, and confident Excellent communication skills Must be able to work under pressure, with no supervision Must be able to work independently as part of a larger team Duties and Responsibilities: Overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, hotel, and event venue Managing and training a team of staff to ensure exceptional service Maintaining high standards of customer service and quality control Managing budgets and optimizing profitability Developing marketing strategies to promote the venue Overseeing all events and activities Monitor tasks of personnel and workers Set goals and plans for each employee Make sure events are well-organized Handle client complaints Be able to think out of the box for problem solving Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the property, events, and restaurant Maintenance of venue - Be able to make small minor repairs if needed Inspect and document repairs and cleanliness of the property to ensure optimum upkeep and repair, room cleanliness, and overall property appearance Monitor monthly inventory of supplies and equipment Weekly stock take checks Oversee planning of special events Ensure property is safe and locked Ensure that all stock at the bar is accounted for Kontak Recruitment Disclaimer: Equal opportunity: All backgrounds are welcomed, with no bias.
