Listed on the JSE in 2015 and ranked in the Sunday Times top 100 companies, Stor-Age now seeks to appoint at least three (3) Assistant Operations Managers to be based between the Contact Centre at the Head Office in Claremont as well as in stores within the Cape Town region, where operationally required. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for driving sales and inspiring exceptional front-line customer service aligned with the company's core values of excellence, sustainability, relevance, and integrity, stipulated within our: Standard operating policies and procedures HR policies and procedures Occupational health and safety requirements Employee relations legislation Responding to incoming customer enquiries. Assisting with renting self storage units, selling packaging, and attending to financial and administrative tasks. Establishing an immediate rapport with potential customers. Closing rental sale deals. Administering customer accounts. Providing information about self storage products and services. Handling and resolving complaints. Working with the store management teams internationally. Delivering superior customer service. Earning an incentive-based commission on top of a market-related salary. Working with all Operations staff as a team. A Matric qualification. Sales-orientated with a successful track record of “closing deals” and dealing with customers effectively both face-to-face, on chat and telephonically. Have performed administrative tasks with careful attention to detail. Have excellent communication skills in English (telephonically, in person, handwritten, and electronically). IT literate (a competent user of email, the internet, MS Office, and point-of-sales system(s). Have own transport and a valid driver's license. Be prepared to work 45 hours per week over a 5.5-day week. You must live in close proximity to the areas advertised. In addition, it will be an advantage if you have: Knowledge of and show a desire to build a career in the self-storage industry. Call centre experience and/or the potential to build and manage a call centre team. We offer a market-related salary of between R12 000 – R15 000 plus an incentive-based commission. Apply Now
