A well-known consulting engineering company with offices in South Africa and in Africa, requires the full-time services of an experienced and professionally ECSA registered Candidate Civil Engineer for the position of Assistant Resident Engineer. This is an on-site contract position. Qualifications Must have a minimum of a BEng, BSc or B Tech in Civil Engineering. Must be a professionally registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer. Valid driver's license essential Must be willing to travel, and medically fit to work on construction sites. Experience Must have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant site experience with bridges and other structural site work. Job Profile / Skills Schedule and conduct site inspections as required, attend progress meetings and final inspections and document meeting minutes; Perform constructability reviews for future contracts, provide meaningful comments on drawings and specifications by specified dates; Complete daily narratives, daily labour reports for T&M work and controlled inspection reports accurately Package & Remuneration Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience Interested?
