Assistant Restaurant Manager - Stellenbosch
Candidate Requirements:
Grade 12
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
2 - 3 years previous restaurant management experience or similar role in the hospitality industry at a similar establishment (5*or similar);
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele;
Good knowledge of food and beverages, including dietaries, bar and wine varietals; WSET or similar wine knowledge certificate course is vital.
Team management & training abilities;
Must be well-presented and have strong customer service orientation;
Ability to learn details quickly (menus/wine list etc.);
Availability to work within opening hours (e.g., evenings, public holidays, weekends);
Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills;
Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
Flexible, enthusiastic and accountable.
