We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Store Manager to oversee 2 of our retail stores based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and manage the objectives of the Stores. Achieve all budgeted targets. Manage expenses as per agreed budgets. Banking and reconciliation Manage end of day procedures and banking Administration Maintain accurate stock recons and manage stock control effectively. Ensure staffing levels and criteria are maintained. Promoting the company name through sales and quality assistance & customer service Matric Experience in textiles or clothing industry Experience in Retail Management Knowledge of household textiles Organizational, planning & motivational skills. Accuracy and show attention to detail. Assist as and when required on the store floor. Hands on and work on the tills as and when required. Excellent communication and people skills Honest, trustworthy and reliable Ability to manage, delegate responsibility and show assertiveness and leadership abilities Market Related
