Alheit Vineyards is a renowned wine farm in the Hemel & Aarde Valley (Hermanus). They are looking for an assistant winemaker to join their boutique operation asap.
Responsibilities:
- Grape transportation.
- Harvest work.
- SAWIS administration.
- Stock taking.
- Transport and managing of cellar staff.
- Managing cellar materials.
- General cellar work and quality control.
- Managing packing schedules and materials.
- Liaising with the export administrator.
- Ad hoc responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification plus 3 years’ assistant winemaker experience.
- Code 10 driver's license (preferable)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Salary: R28k - R32k CTC (Package includes a bakkie, fuel for work purposes, cell phone and provident fund.)
Area: Hermanus
