Date Posted: 2024-03-18 Country: South Africa Location: 17 Angus crescent, Longmeadow Business Estate, Modderfontein, Johannesburg Credit Contoller Key Responsibilities: Payment allocation Delegating cash receipts to SMS cash controllers for allocation Updating and balancing of cash receipts sheet for cash book clerk Allocating of incoming cheques, cash, electronic funds transfers and direct deposits. 1.1 Correspondence Type and mail to customers in response to queries or to collect outstanding debts. 1.2 Debt Reconciliation Prepare reconciliation to explain differences between the Otis and customer records 1.3 Adjustment / Journal Write up of adjustment sheets for misallocations. Correction and checking same entries of all the Credit controllers before forwarding to accounting controllers before forwarding to accounting controller for the signature. Write out journal entries for over /under payment and write offs and checking same entries of all credit controllers before forwarding to accounting controllers for signatures. 1.4 Refund request forms Writing out requisitions for refund of cheques and checking same entries of all credit controller before forwarding to accounting controllers. Customer contact Personal visits to customer and staying in contact with customers via telephone to resolve queries. Downloading of Invoices Downloading invoices of the national key accounts and submitting the invoices on the portal this activity is done once a month. Submitting of Invoices Uploading and following up of invoices on the portal.
