Reference: JHB001448-N-1The main purpose of this position is to assist the Data Modeller in improving data modelling and developing data maturity standards within the Financial Surveillance Department (FinSurv) to support quality-assured, cross border statistics for effective decision making JOB DESCRIPTION Assist with the development of data pipelines, data analyses and data testing. Assist in the continuous assessment of data modelling and data development maturity levels against best practices. Contribute to the implementation of standards, guidelines, processes and procedures for data modelling and data development. Support the data management team in resolving data development issues. Stay abreast of current data management methodologies and new developments in all knowledge areas and ensure the supervised application thereof. JOB REQUIREMENTS a Diploma in either Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or an equivalent NQF 6 qualification; two to five years’ experience in the field of data development, data analysis, data modelling, data warehousing or business intelligence; and a relevant data modelling certification (e.g. CDMP Associate) will be an added ad Annually
