Assurance Manager - - Cape Town City Centre

Experience and Skills Required:

2 - 3 Years proven experience in the role of manager, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a team of trainees to achieve objectives

Demonstrable record of managing a SME client portfolio with specific experience in:

Independent Review engagements in terms of ISRE 2400

Compilation engagements in terms of ISRS 4410

Taxation for Companies and Trusts

Thorough knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and IAS Accounting Standards

Proficient in various accounting software and Microsoft Office

Have a good understanding of the Companies and Income Tax Acts

Working knowledge of CaseWare

Educational Qualifications

BCom, B.Acc or Honours degree (accounting or financial accounting)

SAICA/AGA/SAIPA training contract completed

Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts.

Main Purpose of Position:

This is a full-time management role in the SME division leading, managing the execution of Independent Review engagements for a fast-growing client base. Day-to-day activities will include coordinating with the client and team to ensure timely completion of engagements, provide value added advice to clients, and lead and train a team of trainee accountants.
