RPO's Client, a small audit firm based in Evander, Mpumalanga, is seeking an experienced audit manager to join their team of professionals. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the auditing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing valuable insights to improve financial operations and controls.Responsibilities:Visit client sites and talk to different levels of management to understand the business and their needsPlan, carry out and in some cases design bespoke audit procedures and testsAttend meetings and interview staff to gather audit evidenceExamine accounts, financial records and other documentationObserve stock takes and/or other business proceduresUse analytics to assess financial reporting, fraud or operational business risksPrepare or contribute to a final audit report, including making recommendations for improvements to systems or processesDiscuss the conclusion and recommendations from the audit with clients.Requirements:Experience in a small audit firm is a must.Knowledge of draftworx and RAC an advantageBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCompleted CTAGood interpersonal and influencing skills, for building relationships and negotiating with clientsExcellent written and verbal communication, for presenting complex information with accuracy and clarityBusiness and commercial acumen, in order to understand your clients, their businesses and the markets in which they operateSound analytical skills, for effectively gathering, interpreting and evaluating data and informationTechnological competence, for using software programmes, such as draftworx and modelling toolsGood project management skills, in order to plan and carry out audit activities and to meet deadlinesCritical thinking skills, for reviewing audit evidence and making sound judgmentsan aptitude and desire to continue learning, for developing the technical knowledge and skills you'll need in this career.Benefits:Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
