Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Min. 2 to 3 years completed articles in a SAICA (CA) Programme (could potentially transfer articles).
  • Currently studying towards CTA, ITC and APC.
  • Min. 3 years work experience in the Accounting & Auditing space.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting packages.

  • Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Keep up to date with changes in laws and regulations.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service orientated.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead, review and conduct audits and independent reviews across multiple sectors.
  • Manage client relationships and client expectations.
  • Train Audit Clerks.
  • Manage scheduling of annual audit work.
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns and related tax calculations.
  • Review and draft financial statements in terms of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
  • Oversee month end procedures for clients.
