Audit Senior - Sandton
Minimum Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting.
Min. 2 to 3 years completed articles in a SAICA (CA) Programme (could potentially transfer articles).
Currently studying towards CTA, ITC and APC.
Min. 3 years work experience in the Accounting & Auditing space.
High competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting packages.
Competencies:
Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Keep up to date with changes in laws and regulations.
Process driven.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service orientated.
Strong decision-making skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, review and conduct audits and independent reviews across multiple sectors.
Manage client relationships and client expectations.
Train Audit Clerks.
Manage scheduling of annual audit work.
Review and prepare complex tax returns and related tax calculations.
Review and draft financial statements in terms of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
Oversee month end procedures for clients.
