A well-established auto electrical company with over 50 years’ experience in the industry requires a qualified senior auto electrician to join their team.The applicant must have a trade qualification; a valid driver’s license and minimum of 10 years auto electrical experience (light and heavy commercial vehicles) with references are required.RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose, repair and test on light and heavy dutyvehicles: Trailer Plugs Parallel switches Electronic ignition systems Pre-heating starting devices/globe plugs Starting, charging & battery current draw Electronic cold starting devices Test, service, repair and adjust the following: cut outs, regulators, solenoidswitches, panel instruments, circuits, switches, lamps, horns, heater fan,relays, rheostats, indicators, windshield wiper motors, electric fuel pump andtransmission controls & alternators and their regulatorsATTRIBUTES:Self-starting, Highly motivated individualMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be willing and confident to work on breakdowns / serviceMINUMUM EXPERIENCE: 10 – 15 years - Auto ElectricianOnly qualified with the minimum experience requirements will be acknowledged.
