The Purpose of this Position The successful candidate will assemble, maintain, and repair all types of Bobcats and SANY Equipment including electrical diagnosis and fault finding and repairs including air-conditioning units. Job Duties: •To carry out routine servicing & repairs of Bobcat/SANY products to Bobcat/SANY specifications; however, all electrical work will be of primary importance. •Complete the necessary Job cards and Machine Inspection Reports. •To have a sound knowledge of electronic & electrical Systems and their principles. •To be able to diagnose and repair electrical faults on Machinery of 12/24V systems. •Have the ability to carry out fault finding, repairs to electrical / Electronic wiring & Components •Have the ability to Carry out fault finding and repairs to Air-conditioning systems and associated components •Assist in the repair and overhaul of the various makes of equipment. •Have the ability to carry out Machine repair assessments and complete the relative paperwork thereof. •Ensure personal and co-workers' adherence and compliance to Security and the Company's SHE objectives. •Be willing to work overtime on standby and be available for call outs as and when required. Skills / Qualifications: •Red Seal Electrical certified •Completed Auto electrical Qualification, air-con experience would be an added advantage •At least 5 years' experience in the earthmoving industry •Must be prepared to travel. •Highly motivated person and be able to liaise with customers. •Must be able to read and write English •Must be familiar with hydraulic pumps, drive motors, hydro-static transmissions, hoses, cylinders, air-con units and engines, must be able to read & understand electrical schematics. •Must have good people skills. •Must have a technical aptitude. •Must have a valid driver's license.
