Hire Resolve is partnering with a plastic manufacturing company to find an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation solutions in the plastic manufacturing process to increase efficiency and productivity. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop and maintain automation systems, and provide technical support and training to production staff. Responsibilities: Management and monitoring of health, safety, environmental and quality in accordance with applicable statutory and Engineering standards Ensuring sound and effective financial management Building solid customer and supplier relationships (both internal and external to the organization) Developing operational implementation plans aligned to departmental objectives (Business Planning Management) Automation Engineering support to operation Effective and efficient reporting to enable strategic decision-making Effective people management Ensuring sustainability of automation team functions (equipment, processes and team) Requirements Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical/electronic engineering maintenance roles in an industrial/ manufacturing environment, with exposure to the main areas of electrical engineering and automation. Advance knowledge on Siemens PLCs, VSDs, Soft Starters and DCS Technical understanding of electrical/electronic systems. Excellent problems solving and interpersonal skills.
