Samsung Electronics is recruiting for an Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a someone with expert knowledge of PLC ladder logic and programming, a technically inclined and practical individual who is process and result driven and enjoys elecronics. This is a middle level position in the production and innovation team in our Durban office. Completion of Automation Projects with a given time frame. Generation of weekly best practice reports. Technical support for equipment breakdowns. Project management. Hands-on approach to innovation projects. MS Office & Mechanical Drafting Quick response to support production line Identify root cause of breakdowns and complete RCA report Conduct production line optimizations, quality improvements Provide startup support for maintenance technicians when required Work with support and production staff to ensure that the department is operating at its optimum. Complete tasks to meet Samsung KPI's Matric / Grade 12 National Diploma/Btech in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering Minimum 5 years experience in Maintenance/Automation in which 3 years must be from a Manufacturing environment. Must have own Transport
