Automation Technician - Port Elizabeth
Requirements:
- National Diploma Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 1-2 years experience in the field of Controls, PLC and instrumentation.
- Able to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams (PID).
- Understanding of PLC programming and digital control systems.
- Experience with HVAC and building managements systems.
- A valid Code 08 drivers license.
- Knowledge of electrical control circuits and maintenance management systems.
- Program, repair and calibrate all process instrumentation, and controls.
- Commissioning of controls, instrumentation and building management systems.
- Attend to Callouts and breakdowns in our outside or normal hours.
- Fault finding on Sensors, controls and HVAC equipment.
- Develop and complete tasks in accordance with the companys SHEQ and ISO system.
- Ability to professionally communicate with clients.
- Document and report all visits to customer sites and work performed.
- Work efficiently and accurately in line with customer expectations.
