The Automation Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality. They play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, from analyzing requirements to delivering defect-free solutions.
- Design and develop automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks.
- Execute tests, analyze results, and provide reports on software quality and associated risk.
- Work closely with the development team to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
- Contribute to enhancing the existing automation framework for efficiency and effectiveness

Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the automation framework used.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with different teams.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
Relevant professional certifications like ISTQB would be a plus.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications like ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager, Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST), or Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) would be advantageous.
