Job Description:We are currently seeking Automation Testers for a contract position in Cape Town. This role requires individuals who are proficient in automation testing and have a strong understanding of software development processes.
Job Duties:- Develop and execute automated test scripts
- Identify and report software defects
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure quality software delivery
- Conduct regression testing
- Create test plans and test cases
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Postgraduate qualification in Software Testing or related field
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- This is a hybrid role, with a combination of remote and on-site work
- Contract position with full-time hours
- Only open to South African Citizens
