Seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join my client in telecommunication. As a senior contractor, you will design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure. Passionate about cloud computing? Deep understanding of AWS services? We want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Deploying and maintaining cloud applications
Troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure issues
Collaborating with teams to optimize cloud solutions
Staying current with AWS services and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda)
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud)
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of networking and security in cloud environments

The Reference Number for this position is PM59371 which is a Contract - Hybrid position based in Midrand, Johannesburg offering a cost to company of up to R500 per hour
